A sailor’s Party/ Hide the Vowels
I was raised in the lost and dusty
Egypt
As a pharaoh’s shadow and carpet
But I crawled over the ocean
To meet Europe’s ancient empress.
A sailor invited me for his homeless
party
He has no home and his home is the
sea
Who kept her big mystery for him
She uses her veil to hide the
vowels.
My dreams know more about my fate
Than I will ever be able to
understand
Because my soul is on a trip through
the waves
Instead of a flight to the universe.
The river where Ophelia drowned
Has hidden its origin by frenzy
Where once the kings of ecstasy
belonged to,
Replaced by the endless ebb and flow
of desire.
