Poem for Arlie
Your eyes may burn too brightly for this world
Their intensity too much for the lost souls
But I don't want to miss a glance of them
For in your eyes burns the light of the earth
What others wear for their game of imitation
Manifests in you in its purest form
Not reversed or tangled by artificial light
But it flows through the heat of the summer
Your purity resonates without hesitation
And the poetic equations that
Your eyes distribute prepared me
For the treasure that you carry in your hands
You embrace the fleeting flowers
As a gift from the realm of harmony
